We used direct limousine bus from Incheon International Airport to Pyeongchang bus terminal and taxi to elf pension at terminal. It took times 4~5 hours and quite convenient for limousine bus. The hotel has its own sledge slope and the location is near ski resorts Phoenix Park |

"One drawback is the location. In winter when the road is covered by snow, it is almost impossible to access without snow tire or snow chain. Unfortunately Avis gave us incorrect sized chain, we have to stopped our car in Phoenix resort and travel to Elf pension by shuttle operated by a local rental shop. " |

"All things considered, It was memorable trip during stay at the Elf Pension resort Elf Pension's winter view and snowy around was very beautiful ! . There was big snowy sleigh slope, and so good because snowy sleigh slope was Free and long. When i enjoyed in snowy sleigh slope. I had a thrill and very excellent. Room was clean and comfortable and BBQ deck was each room. BBQ party was unforgettable experience. The staff was very kind and used to speaking English, if you know a little english , you can communicate not any problem! It was a great place to stay if wanting to go to phoenix park. If i visit Phoenix Park, I wil return here for the next time . " |

"We came for one night to sled and to have some BBQ at night. There is a sledding slope right by the hotel. The slope is actually a farm field. There was not much snow the day we came and it was packed on the slope, so you could feel every little bump on the slope with your butt. Surroundings didn’t look all that wintery as they are on the hotel pictures. The snow came down at night and in the morning we had what we came for, a beautiful winter view and nice sledding slope. The staff was very helpful and spoke some English, so the communication wasn’t a problem. The hotel seems to be very popular, we came on Sunday and it was packed with people. The next day on Monday, people started arriving way before the check in hours. " |

"The roads got very slippery in the morning even though the hotel staff laid down some sand to increase the traction. But when you start driving away from the hotel the roads got pretty ugly. If you go there in the winter time, make sure you have some snow chain or you drive 4WD. Otherwise there is a chance of being stuck there." |

A beautiful place to enjoy a skiing holiday |

I quite enjoyed my stay at the pension. It was snowing when we were there. The surroundings were beautiful. The staff were very helpful and spoke good English. We arrived late at night (around midnight) and the staff still gave us great hospitality. One of them even helped drove my friend's car down the snowy slope (my friend drove us there from Seoul).The breakfast was nice too-they delivered the food to your room! |

" There's one thing people might have to pay attention to. The pension itself is quite far away from Seoul (around two hours' by car), and there's no bus going from Seoul after 8.05pm. So if you're considering staying there, you'd better book an earlier flight which will arrive at Seoul early enough for you to take the inter-city bus from Seoul to Jang Pyeong. Or simply stay in Seoul for one night then go to Jang Pyeong the next day. " |
