It is conveniently located near the ski area but having it's own particular atmosphere. Is perfect for families with children as they can play endlessly at the playground. It's a perfect place for snow fun! |

We were at YongPyong last year, and found the accommodations and activities at Elf Pension preferable by far. We were 4 adults, 4 children and we booked the trip last minute, so we were unsure what we'd experience. The staff spoke English, there was an ATM and convenience store onsite. Plus a playground with a free tubing area, plus a great hill for sledding. They had two dogs, some sheep, rabbits, a deer, chickens and geese. The front desk arranged a Snow Valley rental pick up (free) for us every day to their shop, they got us geared up, lift passes, and to the slopes quickly. They also took us to convenience stores and restaurants. Transportation was through International Taxi, which I'd also highly recommend. Our driver's name was Kim, and he picked us up at Incheon and then delivered us back in time for our flight. The luxurious limo van had a big screen TV and was very comfortable for 8 plus luggage. |

"excellent! i came in late in the evening after a long ride from Seoul. It was a great stay, snowy mountain with infinity view. Glad i made this choice to stay here. Comfortable room, ample space for kitchen to prepare own food. There is even a BBQ pit at the balcony area if you're up for it. Next day morning woke up to a white thick snow all over the balcony- felt like heaven. Will definitely come back. " |

"When we checked-in at this hotel, it was almost dark. The reason we chose this hotel because we want to see the snow. The hotel is just like a fairy-tale hotel during winter. Even though the staff said that the standard room (40sqf) can only fit for 2 persons, but we stayed 4 people in the room. It has large bed. It also has cooking facilities - microwave, stove and other utensils. For the first time in our lives, we saw the snow falling in the morning... dont know how to describe the feeling.. its a wonderful feeling...

Each one of us was given a can of latte and a bun with chicken slice (not sure)). We muslims cannot take any kind of meat/chicken that is not halal. So we gave them to our tour guide and driver. We didnt have the chance to go to the dining since we couldnt find halal food there. |

We booked a studio for 4 pax and expected to have 1 room with double bed and 2 futon. However, the "futon" provided can hardly be considered a mattress futon that we have experienced & enjoyed else where. The futons are way too thin and it is a blanket rather than a futon. As a result, we didnt have a nice rest during the night and it is a shame as the hotel can do much better than that. |
